The Food and Nutrition Services(FANS)/Diabetes Services Assistant Director is a new position created to expand the FANS/Diabetes Services leadership team which consists of a RDN/LDN director, executive chef, production manager and clinical coordinator. This position has oversight for ensuring the department meets or exceeds regulatory requirements, assists with reviewing and updating current policies, procedures and developing best practices. Performs needed quality audits for diabetes, nutrition and food services. Trains and coaches staff for excellence. Represents the department on various committees. In the absence of the director or other FANS leadership, may have temporary oversight for their role and direct reports. The nutrition and diabetes team serves the main campus as well as three clinics in Windsor, Osceola and Warsaw. Hours, days and remote work can be flexible.
Required:
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN)
Desired:
Two to three years’ experience in a healthcare setting.
