Employee turnover can be involuntary or voluntary but a significant amount can disrupt your daily operations.
  • Hire New Employees: Business goes on and service does too so you must hire.  Be highly selective to avoid recruiting and training costs.  If you cannot hire in time, hiring temporary employees is an option.
  • Re-Train the Entire Staff: New employees need to be trained together with the current employees to ensure a smooth operation.  If you have room service, you may need a tune-up.  What about the foodservice software you are using?  You may need a refresher and/or training on the latest updates.
  • Retain Employees: Allow room for advancement through training and staff development.  With teamwork and a positive working environment, any team will be able to reach the highest levels of excellence.  Happy employees are less likely to leave.
